Warranty Coverage

Elite Refinishing New York is proud to offer a 5 year Homeowner/2 year Rental warranty on all bathtub and surface refinishing services. This warranty applies to the original purchaser and covers defects in workmanship or material.

What the Warranty Covers

• Peeling, bubbling, or flaking of the refinished surface caused by a failure in the refinishing process.

• Discoloration or fading not caused by improper cleaning or maintenance.

• Delamination or other material failures due to craftsmanship.

What the Warranty Does Not Cover

• Damages caused by misuse, neglect, or accidents, including chips, cracks, or other impacts.

• Surface damage from using abrasive cleaners, steel wool, or harsh chemicals.

• Issues arising from standing water, bathmats with suction cups, or leaving items on the refinished surface for extended periods.

• Damage resulting from attempts to repair or modify the surface by anyone other than Elite Refinishing New York.

Proper Care and Maintenance

To maintain the beauty and durability of your refinished surface, follow these guidelines:

• Cleaning: Use a non-abrasive, mild cleaner such as dish soap, bleach or a cleaner specifically designed for refinished surfaces.

• Tools: Clean with a soft sponge or microfiber cloth. Do not use abrasive pads, steel wool, or scrubbing brushes.

• Bathmats: Avoid using bathmats with suction cups, as they can trap moisture and damage the finish.

• Standing Water: Do not leave water standing on the surface for extended periods.

• Repairs: If you notice any chips or damage, contact Elite Refinishing New York immediately to prevent further deterioration.

Terms and Conditions

• The refinished surface must be cared for according to the provided Care & Maintenance Guide to remain under warranty.

• Elite Refinishing New York reserves the right to inspect and determine the cause of any reported issue. Warranty claims deemed valid will be resolved through repair or re-application of the finish at no additional cost to the customer.

• This warranty is not transferable and is only valid for the original purchaser.

How to File a Warranty Claim

If you experience an issue covered under this warranty:

1. Contact Elite Refinishing New York at (607) 287-9165

2. Provide proof of purchase and a detailed description of the problem.

3. Include photos of the affected area, if possible.

Our team will evaluate your claim and work with you to schedule an inspection or repair.

Additional Notes

This warranty is provided in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied. Elite Refinishing New York’s liability is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective surface. We are not responsible for incidental or consequential damages.
